Virtual Book Club

How could a loving God send people to Hell? Why isn’t Christianity more inclusive? How can one religion be “right” and the others “wrong”? Why have so many wars been fought in the name of God? In this series we will read and discuss Tim Keller’s book, “The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism”, which dives into these questions and much more.

Each chapter is pretty well self-contained so please feel free to join us at any time. Below is the tentative schedule for each week:

  • Wednesday, May 27 (Chapter 6: Science has Disproved Christianity; Chapter 7: You Can’t Take the Bible Literally)
  • Thursday, June 4 (Chapter 8: The Clues of God; Chapter 9: The Knowledge of God)
  • Wednesday, June 10 (Chapter 10: The Problem of Sin; Chapter 11: Religion and the Gospel)
  • Thursday, June 18 (Chapter 12: The [True] Story of the Cross; Chapter 13: The Reality of the Resurrection)
  • Wednesday, June 24 (Chapter 14: The Dance of God; Wrap Up)
